Post Mother's Day

I'm probably thinking with my stomach right now because I'm starving! Here in Mexico we use to have lunch as the main meal of the day, as if it were dinner, so it's the most craved meal and I always take it with my family whenever we eat at our house... and my mom has not arrived so I'm on the verge on passing away...
Post Mother's Day day: regarding Fashion, it makes me think about flowers, daffodils, flowers everywhere and at the same time it's one of the patrons which are a trend right now, flowers printed over a blue background, sometimes remembering us of the bluest sky.
Fashion is so many things, everything, except what the Mexican Education Bureau pretends or intends it to be... first off, what the hell do they know about fashion? Are there any fashionistas inside that specific bureau? Because as far as I am concerned, every single politician in Mexico right now has got where he or she is right now with the help of corruption and injustice, bribe. Here in Mexico the fashion career is actually an accredited career (which, at first glance, appears to be faboulous), however, the career here sucks! There are no good fashion schools, all of them try to persuade you into some kind of exchange with an apparently better school in Europe or in the US. That already tells us that these people are not even happy with their school here in Mexico. I'd love and I dream about studying fashion in Parsons or Marangoni or Central Saint Martins; however, as I've mentioned before, I've listened to my inner political, philosophical and historical me and will major in International Relationships... at least I will have a very good career in things I love, later on I will do what I love most! Which, right now, is having my own fashion brand. At least I hope so.

Ok so the lights went out while I was this like 3 hours ago and now I'm different: I've eaten so I'm not thinking with my stomach anymore. I love jazz and today I discovered a fantastic feature on iTunes which is RADIO! LIVE! So I get to listen to every single Jazz station worldwide! At least 50 different Jazz staions. I must add that there are also like 30 different genres other than jazz so dear reader, please yourself. Jazz and piano are just relaxing and perfect to help you think and get out what ever you need to get out. Even more, it's perfect for drawing, it makes your drafts come out clean, discreet and gentle.--. just as fashion illustration needs to be.

Today, while I was on my car listening to the RADIO... news radio this time... some horrible news about a Narc Camp was being streamed. The horrible thing is that the narc are intending to take their "business" into another level by creating schools! So it's pretty massive and pretty scary... Personally, I don't like living here in Mexico. It's ambiguous... I love living in Mexico but I'm scared most of the time... as well as the rest of the people are... so that stresses us Mexicans to unwanted and unavoidable points of stress and paranoia.

xoxo
